Great books. I so have Starters on my wishlist
The audiobook for The Host is really good. I like the narrator she has a great voice kind of haunted and melancholy which I think suits the story well. Also it’s like 30hours long. I think it would’ve taken me a couple of months to finish the actual book in my free time, where it took me about a week while I was at work.
I have been listening to it at work and in the car all week. I’m on disc 19 out of 20. 🙂 She has been a good reader, although,I’m not sure how I feel about her voices for Wanda and Jamie. Her Jeb and Melanie are excellent. 🙂
It’s been a couple of years since I listened to it but I remember liking her voice. If you haven’t already heard them or are looking for a goodaudiobook series some of my absolute favorites are The Hollows series by Kim Harrison read by Margarite Gavin, The Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne read by Luke Daniels, and The Charley Davidson books by Darynda Jones read by Lorelei King.
What a great book haul you have this week! I love the Bronte & Austen covers. So gorgeous. Hope you enjoy your new books!
Looks like you’ve got a brilliant haul. Love the new covers of the Austen and Bronte books – they look amazing. Super jealous you’ve got a copy of Unspoken. Hope you enjoy them all.
Jealous! I really want Starters and Croak. Happy reading. Enjoy. 🙂

Great selection! There are so many books you have here that I so want to read immediately and even more that are definitely being added to my shelf right away. I got The Immortal Rules too – can’t wait to get started on it. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

I recently got Possess and DoN’t Breathe a Word and I still think about buying the new edition of classics, too. They look so great, right? Aaawh, I want! : D
Happy Reading! 🙂

Liesl and Po and Unspoken are two I want to read really bad. I’ve heard fab things about them. Enjoy all your new books!
I can’t wait to see what you think of Possess, I hear it’s really scary! The Host is fabulous… definitely better than the Twilight series. It’s a pretty long novel, I read it a few chapters at a time because it takes a while to get into the good stuff, but it’s worth it!
P.S. I LOVE YOUR NEW LAYOUT. I love how the books stacked up in the background design are all blue…very appealing!
THANK YOU, Sallie! I like the new, blue layout, too. 🙂 As for The Host, I loved reading the book. My favorite Stephenie Meyer story, for sure. As for the audiobook; it is very well done. I was curious to hear it, and it did not disappoint. I’m actually on the last two discs (out of 20! 24 hours! O.O) I’ll let you know about Possess! 🙂
Em is reading Croak right now!
