“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that I’m eagerly anticipating. This week’s pre-publication “can’t-wait-to-read” selection on Making the Grade is:

As you may already know, Beautiful Creatures is being adapted into a feature film by Warner Brothers. Filming will begin in New Orleans this spring/summer, and will be released in February 2013. The film stars Viola Davis (Lena), Emma Thompson (Mrs. Lincoln/Sarafine) and Jack O’Connell (Ethan). In anticipation of the movie, and thanks to the cover reveal yesterday, my interest in acquiring the final book in the series has increased tenfold. Just LOOK at that fantastic cover!

    I’ve never read Beautiful Creatures, but movie releases always make me want to start reading so the movie doesn’t spoil the book! Yikes, you have a long wait until October. I hope it comes quickly for you!

    I haven’t read Beautiful Creatures yet, but I’ve desperately wanted to and the fact that it’s being made into a movie is really exciting!

    Thank you for stopping by my blog earlier. I found it pretty funny as well that the font for Dark Companion isn’t very dark. Shows how much they know, haha!
