It isn’t easy being the rather overlooked and unhappy youngest sibling to sisters named for the other six days of the week. Sunday’s only comfort is writing stories, although what she writes has a terrible tendency to come true.

When Sunday meets an enchanted frog who asks about her stories, the two become friends. Soon that friendship deepens into something magical. One night Sunday kisses her frog goodbye and leaves, not realizing that her love has transformed him back into Rumbold, the crown prince of Arilland—and a man Sunday’s family despises.

The prince returns to his castle, intent on making Sunday fall in love with him as the man he is, not the frog he was. But Sunday is not so easy to woo. How can she feel such a strange, strong attraction for this prince she barely knows? And what twisted secrets lie hidden in his past – and hers?

ENCHANTED is an endearing tale that provides a unique melting pot of many of the classic fairy tales that we all know and love! But at the center of them all is The Frog Prince retelling of Prince Rumbold and the ever-endearing Sunday, the “seventh” daughter of a VERY large family.

Today I am pleased to welcome Sunday, the main character of Enchanted, to the blog for a brief interview:

Welcome Sunday! Thank you for visiting Making the Grade. Please tell us, how does it feel to live in a family as large as yours? You certainly don’t see many families of your size around these days!

Oh, my family isn’t all that large, is it? I suppose that I must be used to it, even though it is no fun being the youngest. You know that the seven dwarfs are actually brothers, right? I hear they sought after the 12 Dancing Princesses a few years back. They thought it would be funny if they were not only brothers, but also brothers in-law. Plus, a few of them thought they could take two of the princesses for their brides… But the dwarfs were horribly rejected, thank goodness. That would have been very gross. I mean, you DO know how OLD those dwarfs are, right? Yuck!

Plus, don’t they already have that one princess living with them? The one with the hair of ebony, lips red as a rose?

Oh, Snow? She left them, last I heard. Finally clued into their lecherous ways. I think she found herself a prince.

Hmm, how about you? Have you found yourself a “prince charming” yet?

No, not yet. Or, at least not a prince. But the other day I did meet a frog. He is the kindest, most handsome frog I have ever met. We can talk for hours… I do so wish I could meet him again. He’s my friend… *blushes*

Ah. A “friend”, huh? Well, since he is a talking frog it ‘s most likely there could be some sort of enchantment on him and he isn’t a frog at all! Keep your chin up, there may be hope for you yet!

Thank you all for reading that fun (and totally made up) interview!
