Make it a Movie Monday (10) The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight

This meme is a way to discuss the books that have made their way to film, or to talk about the books we wish would be made into a movie. You are open to talk about any book out there in any way that you want, as long as you discuss the book as if it were a MOVIE. For more info about how to include your own Make it a Movie Monday (MiaMM) on your blog, click here.

This week my meme will focus on The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith. I had a hard time picking out the “perfect pairing” for the  main characters, Hadley and Oliver. Have you had the opportunity to read this touching, coincidental love story? If so, feel free to take a look at the casting possibilities I have featured below.

Let me know who you think would best play the leads!

You can also read our five-star review of the book here.

Who would have guessed that four minutes could change everything?

Today should be one of the worst days of seventeen-year-old Hadley Sullivan’s life. She’s stuck at JFK, late to her father’s second wedding, which is taking place in London and involves a soon to be step-mother that Hadley’s never even met. Then she meets the perfect boy in the airport’s cramped waiting area. His name is Oliver, he’s British, and he’s in seat 18C. Hadley’s in 18A.

Twists of fate and quirks of timing play out in this thoughtful novel about family connections, second chances and first loves. Set over a 24-hour-period, Hadley and Oliver’s story will make you believe that true love finds you when you’re least expecting it.

Who do you think should play Hadley & Oliver?

Pick from A, B or C below for each of the two characters.
Or add your own two cents if you think someone else should play the pair!
